# Seller terms

> Every purchase through your storefront is made on ZeroClick's buyer terms of service. Add your own terms of service and privacy policy links so buying agents, their receipts, and every payment challenge name them too.

Agents buying through your storefront pay a 402 challenge per call or per plan. Every purchase is made on ZeroClick's [buyer terms of service](https://www.zeroclick.ai/legal/buyer-terms-of-service), and your own terms say what that payment buys. This page covers the links your storefront presents, and what ZeroClick does with them.

## What you provide

In the dashboard, under your store's settings, set:

* **Terms of service URL**: the public page with your terms. Use a stable https address of up to 512 characters; the storefront and every payment challenge link to it.
* **Privacy policy URL**: presented the same way.
* **Additional terms URL**: any other terms a purchase is subject to, such as an acceptable use policy, presented the same way.

All three links are optional and can be cleared. ZeroClick's buyer terms are presented on every storefront that is accepting orders; your links are added alongside them when set. A store that is not yet accepting orders presents no terms, since there is nothing to accept. The wording about acceptance names your terms of service once you have set one.

## What agents see

On every storefront:

* **A notice.** A short paragraph in the acceptance language ZeroClick's legal team wrote, naming the platform's buyer terms and your links, appears in the storefront index (`llms.txt`), the agent guide, the overview, the payment page, and the markdown block served to agents on your own site. A `terms.md` page on your pay URL carries the same links, the storefront footer links them for human visitors, and the hosted card checkout shows the clause above the pay button. The wording states what a payment means and asks the agent to do nothing, because agents treat instructions on a page as suspicious.
* **A record with the price.** The same links travel as a small machine-readable `terms` record in the 402 challenge, in `manifest.json`, and in a `zc-terms` header on every paid response, so an agent's receipt names the terms it paid under. A priced challenge adds a one-line note saying what paying means, and the payment description a wallet or card client shows names the links too.

Every payment ZeroClick records keeps the links it quoted and the time of the quote, so a purchase can be traced to the terms in force when it was made.

## Wording

The notice reads, with your store name and links filled in:

> Terms: by completing a purchase through this endpoint, whether directly or through an AI agent acting on your behalf, you agree to be bound by Acme's terms of service ([https://acme.com/terms](https://acme.com/terms)) and the platform's buyer terms of service ([https://www.zeroclick.ai/legal/buyer-terms-of-service](https://www.zeroclick.ai/legal/buyer-terms-of-service)). Acme's privacy policy: [https://acme.com/privacy](https://acme.com/privacy). Acme's additional terms: [https://acme.com/aup](https://acme.com/aup). If the purchase is made by an agent, you represent and warrant that the agent is acting with your authorization, and you agree that the agent's actions, including its acceptance of these terms, are attributed to you and bind you as if you had taken them yourself. Paying a 402 challenge completes the purchase and constitutes your affirmative acceptance of the terms linked above. The links travel in every payment challenge and receipt as `terms`.

With no links of your own it reads:

Keep your own site's terms page reachable without JavaScript so an agent that follows the link can read it.
